Manufacturing Planning & Cost Analyst

We are a growing custom furniture manufacturer with about 50 production employees. We create made-to-order products and depend on tight coordination between scheduling, estimating, production, and data to deliver on time and keep things running smoothly.

We're adding a Production Planning & Analysis Specialist to strengthen our production planning, job estimating, performance tracking, and data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who likes working with both people and numbers and wants to make a tangible difference in a real manufacturing setting.

What You’ll Do 

· Build and maintain weekly production schedules 

· Analyze labor hours, capacity, and lead times 

· Support estimating for custom projects using Excel and Cabinet Vision 

· Compare estimated vs. actual labor and material costs 

· Help improve data tracking, reporting, and automation 

· Create reports on efficiency, capacity, and performance 

· Present findings and recommendations to leadership 

· Support continuous improvement across production and scheduling

What We’re Looking For 

· Manufacturing experience (scheduling, estimating, or operations preferred) 

· Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas) 

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities 

· Good communication skills 

· Willingness to learn Cabinet Vision and CNC-related processes 

· Experience with QuickBooks, MRP, or ERP systems is a plus
